Drill the hole in the desired location. Use a 2½" hole saw.

Apply heavy-bodied PVC cement to the inner facing of the fitting and pipe, as well as the lip of the pipe where The Boss™ will sit.

Set The Boss™ in place, holding the fitting tight against the pipe for sixty seconds.
