After less than a year in business, Diamond Building Supply has placed $400,000 in purchases from Blish-Mize, but Chupp says he hopes to double or triple that number by next year. It’s been a good experience working together, according to Chupp. Blish-Mize has been very involved, and he was happy with their input for the new store. His Blish-Mize sales representative and the regional manager were with him every step of the way as they planned major upgrades and added to the store’s hardware department. The former location was minimalist. “We had just enough to do what the contractors needed,” Chupp says. Now, the business has the ability to supply complete house packages. They carry dimensional lumber, sheetrock, siding, windows, doors, trim and metal and shingle roofing.
