When customers want products not currently on store shelves, they’ll be able to order online, have items delivered to their local store and pick them up at their convenience. Some retailers may choose to offer both immediate inventory and warehouse ordering options, giving customers unprecedented access to products while maintaining the personal service that defines independent retail.
