Discipline and Dedication Blish-Mize Warehouse Manager Reflects on Military Service Helping Him Serve Customers

D an Regan joined the Over the years, his hard work and dependability earned him multiple promotions, including his current role as warehouse manager—a position created specifically for him. Blish-Mize team in 2007 as a shipping supervisor.

“I oversee the receiving, picking and shipping departments, ensuring the right products are where they need to be and that trucks leave on time,” he says. Long before he joined Blish-Mize, Regan learned the value of discipline and teamwork in the U.S. Army. He enlisted in 1986 as a 13 Bravo cannon crew member, serving in Germany and Georgia. After completing four years of service, he left the service before being called

back during the Gulf War in the Individual Ready Reserve. Regan says the military taught him discipline, leadership and the importance of attention to detail, which he says all translate to his job as warehouse manager. “I look forward to coming to work every day and showing other employees the correct way to do our jobs to the best of our abilities,” he says. “The military taught me how to be a good leader.”
